MARIBYRNONG ORCHID SOCIETY WINTER SHOW FOR 2010
We had a good turnout to see our 2010 Winter Orchid Show, despite the cold. There were some fantastic winter flowerers. As well as our member's orchid displays, refreshments, plant sales and orchid accessory sales and a raffle were all a part of the weekend.

The Champion Stand (Predominately Orchids) was entered by Jim & Margot Lattimore
The Champion Basket of Orchids was arranged by Anita Evans. The basket also contained the Champion Australian Native Orchid
Orchids can be grown cool, intermediate or warm
There is a huge variety in size and colour
The Gerald McCraith AM Award for Champion Species Orchid was won by Cym erythraeum `Paradise` grown by Malcolm Pearce
