MARIBYRNONG ORCHID SOCIETY AUTUMN SHOW FOR 2009
We had a fantastic turnout to see our 2009 Autumn Orchid Show. There were various demonstrations, floral art, food, refreshments, and the sale of orchids and plant accessories adding to the interest. We also had a raffle.

The Grand Champion Orchid of the Show was this magnificent Paph Angel Hair, grown by Stephen Stebbing
Reserve Champion was Dals Girl Arcadia
The Champion Basket of Orchids was assembled by Steve & Helen Randall
Individual plants and basket groups are on show
Members display a wonderful range of plants
Orchids can be grown cool, intermediate or warm
There is a huge variety in size and colour
Members show both native and exotic orchids
Champion Australian Native Orchid was this Dendrobium Hilda Poxon
The Show Tables display a wide range of orchids in bloom
Members also displayed skill in their floral art arrangements
The AOC Conference 2009 is to be hosted by Maribyrnong Orchid Society and held in Werribee
